It works with Philips ® Ozone-free lamps with a wavelength of 254 nm. Ultraviolet radiation with this wavelength offers an extraordinary germicidal capacity on microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores.
The lamps have a special coating which captures radiation of less than 200 nm, thus preventing the formation of ozone in the air and extending the life of lamps hasta las 18000h.
UV-C radiation is an air disinfectant solution that can help mitigate the risk of infection and has been used widely for more than 40 years. All bacteria and viruses tested to date (many hundreds over the years, including various coronaviruses) respond to ultraviolet UV-C disinfection.
